Jon Lundquist

Jon has been playing drums in show bands since he was 14 years old, starting with his parent’s band The Memories in Enderby, BC. A self-taught musician, Jon spent many years in the Okanagan’s top show band Shakewood Annie, sharing stages with the likes of Powder Blues, k.d. lang, and Dr. Hook, across BC and including a 2-week run at the 86 Street Music Hall during Expo 86. In 1987 he made the move to the Vancouver area and after a year of bar bands and being on the road, Jon became immersed in local dinner theatre, where he spent the next 30 years as an actor, drummer, guitarist, bassist, singer, comedian, and his last year and a half as Music Director.

When Covid hit, and the world shut down, Jon decided it was time to leave dinner theatre behind and get back to doing what he loved the most…playing drums! Lucky for him, March Hare offered him their vacant throne and the rest is now history in the making.
